Keyla's Hair Braiding

I went to the hair store for a Locs retwist and it turned out to be a waste of time, and money. I left the salon looking like my locs were done by a new hair school student, not a professional. I was in so much pain during the process (the twisting and clipping) but some locs were loose at the roots, all puffed up. They did not have the right loc gel either. The staff did not bother to wipe the gel off my skin either, instead she let it dry on my forehead/ears and had to clean up when I got home. The staff did not seem to be experienced with locs - they should be honest with the customers and offer services that they are experts in. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON FOR LOCS SERVICES!!! Keyla and her staff were able to accomplish the very thing I wanted when I brought a picture. I was also able to get in on short notice for box braids as well. They have done my hair twice and each time the style lasted over a month.

Took me a few to rate because I wanted to see how long my hair would last and I Absolutely love how my 2 simple braids came out. It’s been almost x3 weeks and my hair looks as if I just got it done.…got a lot of compliments on how neat and nice they came out and the price was reasonable given the amount of hair I have….Thanks again Kayla Braid Shop…I’ll be back soon!

Came to Keyla’s Hair Braiding for the first time and had a particular style in mind for my hair and she executed just THAT. My box braids are so neat, precise and beautiful. I had an event to go to the same day and I received a ton of compliments on how gorgeous my hair looked. Keyla was also a complete sweetheart, extremely patient and didn’t let me leave until I was completely satisfied with my look. Def trusting her with my hair moving forward. 5 out of 5 stars all the way

The owner Miriam is very professional, personable, and friendly. You can show her any hairstyle and she will perfect it. She doesn’t braid tight either, I loved my hair after she was done. Her prices are very reasonable. I got knotless braids and they lasted 2 months even with me washing my hair in between. I experienced minimal frizz afterwards. I definitely will be returning and recommending her to family and friends. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.
