Kennaland is such a beautiful salon. Nat is a blonde wizard, and I’ve had incredible experiences with a variety of stylists for haircuts. Most recently, James gave me the perfect cut and blowout—always a 10/10 experience. Worth every dollar!

One of the best and kindest salons I have been to. I’ve been twice to Kennaland whilst I’ve been in Brooklyn - most recently I went the day of my breakup and the salon staff could not have been more supportive. The owner offered me a place to work and spend the day, they reassured me and helped me find a hotel to says in and they even gifted me a dry shampoo to see me through the rest of my trip. I turned up in tears and left feeling so thankful and with the reminder that there are very kind, caring people in the world. Oh - and an excellent blow dry!

I highly recommend Kennaland, I have always had an amazing experience here. If you are looking for a stylist consider James. James was an amazing hair stylist. He was right on time, listened really well, and gave me the exact cut that I asked for. I showed him a video from tik tok with a layered haircut with curtain bangs and he perfectly delivered along with an amazing blow out. He also gave an amazing head massage when washing my hair. It looked so good that I decided to go for drinks because I needed to take advantage of how good it looked! He's also extremely friendly and approachable.

First time at Kennaland, cut and color by Dennis. He is a wizard with color and has the most calming, kind energy. I came in with soooo many different colors of blonde in my hair and a horrible grow out. Dennis was so patient with figuring out my color goals and took the time to achieve an end result I was happy with. I’m one of those people who typically leaves a salon a little disappointed (at best) or super upset for weeks. I LOVE my color! It’s definitely $$$$ but worth every penny. Never going anywhere else.

Happy to see a place that meets the great ratings and reviews! I came in for a cut and added a gloss. Kat took all the time needed to ask questions about my habits, styling, washing, what I wanted to do, suggested a gloss only because I asked about enhancing color. The haircut is beautiful, she started on dry hair, then fine tuned it after wash and gloss. Hair color after the gloss is brighter and feels fresh. Very welcoming staff, nice bright space.
