Went to store to buy a hair pomade for $11.00 and with tax it was $12.10. Woman told me tax was 10%. One of the most depressed areas in town and an Asian woman is selling disenfranchised black ppl their own products at 10% tax price. To make matters worse, owners don't what products do and they watch you like your going to steal something. Its not even Thursday fault because we won't drwa a line in the sand to demand better or pull our money from their fist. Darn. When will we learn. Fool me once... .

People patronize businesses and expect reasonable service. I went into Kay's Beauty Supply to purchase a satin night cap. The price on the cap was $2.00 got to the cash register and the sales lady peels that $2.00 price off and she says," $2.00 wrong price real price $8.99 . Really people is this what we have come too. Sad to have to deal with such tacky business ethics. I don't recommend this hair store it is a rip off.

I went to the kay beauty on blvd which I visit on occasionally if have a event to attend.The customer service was uncomfortable the owner appeared on every isle I was on. Every black person dont steal!!!! I try not to visit their establishment.

Kays Beauty Supply store is a small business owned by friendly helpful people that's the neighborhood beauty supply store that mainly serves the Southlawn Community. Yet, with its location on Mobile Hwy right off the exit ramp on 80 Hwy. it's also convenient to consumers living close by in other communities on Mobile Hwy. , W. Blvd. , 80 Hwy. and as far as the Hope Hull community. The store is small but completely stocked in any available space with products for all hair,nail,skin and PERSONALITY types. Staff is friendly and eager to assist and recommend items for your individual néed. If you don't see it, ASK!, because they have many items behind the POS counter and they probably have just what you don't see out on the sales floor.
