Kathy is so sweet! I paid $80 for a root touch up for my peekaboo hair color. She was able to color match to the original light brown with just bleach alone, which I've heard is very hard to do! She was also able to fix the mistakes my last hair stylist made. I made an appt 2 days beforehand and she was able to slide me into her schedule. She mentioned she recommends walk ins and appts as early in the day as possible (mine was at opening, 10 AM), since her salon gets very busy starting in the afternoon and parking can be hard to get.

Had a great first appointment at Kathy's beauty salon! Called in, thinking I was going to need to wait weeks for my long hair cut + perm, but she said she had an opening right away, so I dropped in! She was very personable and considerate off my time (had to leave on time to pickup my kids) and was able to fit in a cut AND perm in half the time of my previous salon visit. Will definitely be back!

Goto Salom in Southside for most hair services. I have been getting hair cut from her when she used to work in other salon as well. She is very caring, sweet and goes extra mile to make her clients happy. Highly recomended locally and family owned salon.

Super happy with my haircut and color! Kathy was friendly, gentle, and knew exactly what she was doing. I asked for short hair and she nailed it, I’ve been getting lots of compliments! She also did my hair color in just one session, quick and efficient. She does nails, foot spa, removes ingrown nails well, and even do grooming and shapes beards for men! Highly recommended! Just make sure to book ahead since she works solo. 💇‍♀️💅

I’ve been going to Kathy’s Beauty Salon in Renton and can’t recommend it enough! Kathy is amazing – very friendly, hardworking, and truly cares about her clients. She pays great attention to detail and always makes sure I’m completely happy with my haircut. The salon itself is spotless, welcoming, and reasonably priced, which makes the whole experience even better.
