I had an unfortunate experience today while parked on the street near this business. A woman who identified herself as the shop owner approached me and demanded that I move my vehicle, claiming she had more rights to the spot because she rented the storefront. There were no signs indicating reserved or exclusive parking, and the street is clearly public. Despite calmly explaining this, she continued to escalate the situation and insist that I move. After several minutes of unnecessary confrontation, I chose to leave simply to avoid further harassment. It was disappointing and unprofessional behavior. No customer or passerby should be made to feel intimidated over public street parking.

Have gotten my hair done here for over 2 years, Kathy has always done my hair perfectly with hair cuts and dye. Very professional and a really good welcoming vibe with every client.

I’ve been coming to Kathy’s salon for a few years already. I’m always satisfied with the results from my regular haircuts to my hair being colored. The staff there are always nice not just to me but to other customers i see walk into the salon when I’m there. I always recommend my friends and family to come to Kathy’s because they are the best!

The stylist talks a lot, which is fine, but she was on the phone and did a sloppy job. During my visit, she made rude comments about my skin that felt like subtle bullying—I stayed quiet. I also had the first appointment of the day, but she asked me to let someone else go first. I agreed, but it felt unprofessional. My haircut ended up much shorter than the other person’s, and I stayed over an hour even though I arrived early and had a reservation. She seems only friendly with people she knows and let her mask down while I was there. Overall, rude, unprofessional, and I will not return.
