Zen spa for me! I love coming here for mani and pedi especially for the rosemary mint pedi which is to die for. The smell and combination of these two herbs gives you such a calming and relaxing feeling so worth it. Your feet will love it too. This is my go-to spot for manis and pedis. For one, there's no fume cloud of nail polish and acetone that assault your nostrils as soon as you enter. The owners of Karma built their business on the novel idea of creating a space that was safe for pregnant women, children, and those sensitive to allergies by using polishes and removers that didn't have traditional salon chemicals. To be fair, I have no idea what makes up their nail polishes, but I appreciate how it always smells like faint lavender instead of polishes whenever I come. Appointments are highly recommended, and I've never had to wait long before I was seen. This is my first time looking for a natural, pregnancy-friendly nail place. The spa appeared clean, and it was a relaxing pedicure - smells great in there, thanks to the essential oils. The couch seats were comfy. Good array of nail polish colors. What I didn't like as much was that I felt like there wasn't enough water in my bowl (they draw water and fill your bowl vs. having a tub with faucet - while more hygienic, the water temperature and level were not as satisfactory as I would have liked. Maybe also because of the couch seating and my legs aren't as long, my feet weren't really dunked and soaking. Next time, I might ask for more water, and maybe a refill of hotter water midway? I just found this place after googling best pedicures in Bergen county. And I have to say it is! I will only go here for my pedicures. The owner is so pleasant as well as the staff. It smells so good as soon as you walk in. The cleanest place I have ever been to. My daughters love it also. I will never go anywhere else again!!!!
