After following this salon on Instagram for several months, I decided to book an appointment based on the owner’s videos promoting professionalism, old-school customer service, and the assurance that a shampoo is included with styling services. I was genuinely excited, especially after seeing what appeared to be a welcoming and professional environment online. I called ahead to confirm services, was told that a shampoo was included, and scheduled my appointment as instructed. I paid a $15 deposit, which I later learned does not apply toward services—unexpected, but I proceeded. Upon arrival, I was not greeted warmly. I was simply told to go to the back and sit down. This salon has truly become my favorite over the past year! I’ve had the sew-in service a few times with the bundles included—the hair quality is simply outstanding! While I’ve seen some mention of unprofessionalism, I can honestly say that my experiences have been nothing but positive. The team genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Taniya gave me a wonderfully soothing shampoo and steam treatment, and Corey styled my hair beautifully. I’m really thankful to have finally found a salon like this one. I just have to add one last thing—the music they play creates such a good vibe that I didn’t even need my earbuds! Additionally, the salon owner embodies professionalism and truly cares about their clients.

Please do not waste your time if you are looking for a wig. I had the worse experience of my life. I was scammed out of $730 for a 24 in straight middle part wig. Let me start with the customer service is the worse. I walked in no one spoke very rude. Red flag #1. Shampoo girl arguing with her man while washing my hair red flag 2. I booked with owner she had her employee install the garbage. Corey. The wig was lumpy at the top. The glue peeling up soon as I walked out that door. I walked in my house the first thing my husband said was did they forget to style it.. I was not offered a mirror to look at it in the shop so all I could see was the front. Had an excellent experience today at Kariah Salon. Kelly was very professional and pleasant. Her daughter was so sweet she wash my hair for me ! Corey was very nice as well he braided me down. I received the Bob special w/closure ! Came out so cute!!!!!! She even made sure I had tips for maintaining before I left. Will definitely be back. Thanks for excellent service !

i see this place is still gettin bad reviews. i was looking for my friend another hairstylist near her area & came around this place .. remembered they looked familiar , so i went & saw this was the place me & my mom came too where i booked an appointment, waited for so long for the stylist to come, wasnt greeted & we left out the place to find someone else years ago. when we left she was blowing my phone up asking did we leave .. um clearly lmaoo. they are so bad for business here but judging by these comments the owner is still rude as hell.
