Kan’s African Hair Braiding(Remodel)

⸻ My initial experience was not the best. I visited the salon two days prior to my appointment and spoke with a very kind young lady name Assou. I have a pixie cut, and after discussing the style I wanted, she assured me she could do small braids that would look great. I was excited and looking forward to my appointment. However, on the day of my appointment, I learned that the owner would be doing my hair instead. I didn’t think much of the change at the time, but unfortunately the results were far from what I expected. While it wasn’t terrible, it seemed rushed and not done with much care. The worst experience I ever had I went there asked for my hair to be braided with human hair showed them the style. The picture ask numerous times would they be able to do it? They told me yes and then when they were done, it was horrible. It was nothing like the picture. Nothing like I asked for and then she tried to convince me that that was the same as the picture and that she’s been braiding for so long and I’ve been getting my hair braided for just as long she screamed and yelled in my ear the whole entire time and kept burping in my face. Then they had babies running around the store, making a bunch of noise, crying and screaming. The lady had to keep stopping to go check on her baby very unprofessional the worst African hair braiding place I’ve ever been to

LADIES !! Very nice work done on my hair and it was really fast compared to the prior stylist that I’ve gone to . Everyone in the salon was very kind and helpful, even multiple stylists on my hair moving efficiently and with grace. Consistent and clean! THE PRICES ARE SOOO AFFORDABLE. I will be back for my next hairstyle. 5 Stars ⭐️!!

I have been here since 9:30 am it was 2 people doing my hair(1 with a newborn baby)One of the Braider's left & now it's 7pm I'm getting out here late for work never again, horrible experience!

The owner is the worst, I hired her to do my daughter's hair and she kept lying to me telling me someone was coming to do my daughter's hair but no one ever came then when someone did finally come in she had them pass up on my child. They are very unprofessional and lack customer service. I wish you the best if you decide to utilize their services.
