K Zee African Braiding & Supplies

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Kzee by chance. I came into her shop to buy a necklace, I was amazed at all the hair products, nylons, shampoos,hair gels creams, etc. I decided to come back and get my hair braided. There are so many diffetent styles and different hair choices to pick from. I have been coming for 6 months now and am always satisfied with the service and products, but more important than that I am greatful for the friendship I have with Kzee, she is a gift from God. The most talented braider I ever met.

After 10 years of supporting Ms. Kizee, I recently walked away for good. It's important to feel valued as a customer, beyond being called "sistah". I understand times are extremely challenging, especially for small-scale minority owned businesses BUT we are all struggling in some way. Customers should not be taken advantage of, but should be appreciated, especially during hard times. Therefore, I explored the many other options and no longer support her in business. However, I keep hearing horrible stories so I'm leaving my BEST advice for future customers. 1. Be prepared to be overcharged, no matter how simple or complex the style. 2. Be aware, NO naps! Look in the mirror as whomever is braiding your hair. Watch every detail closely, do not trust that the owner nor the other braiders ca

One of the best hair braiders. Show her a style and she has no trouble recreating that style to the best of her many abilities. She is reasonably priced, attentive to detail and design and treats her customers as guests.. Not just another customer. You will love her

Too rude, this is the second appointment she was talking over me she didn't want to style everything that I said she seemed to make it combative. I anticipate some difficulty with communication due to language barriers. But this was too much for my patronage. And the braids were just okay! Too expensive, that speaks for itself and there is no parking. Proceed with caution.

I hate that I'm writing this but I'm highly disappointed. For the most part, Kzee Hair Braiding is a very cute hair salon and beauty supply store. The owner, Kzee and her employees are very personable and welcoming. My issue is with the lack of customer service. Kzee overcharged me and provided sub par service. Her work was rushed and not very thorough. Another thing, all of her clients including herself are bald. That's not a good sign. I wouldn't go back and I can't say I would recommend her to anyone. Shop at your own risk.
