K C Beauty Mart

I went to this store about 3 weeks ago, I wouldn’t recommend going. I was forced to be the only black woman that has to leave her purse and wallet by the door, that’s unacceptable , there was other black people in there and they didn’t leave their stuff by the door . I live by this store and have gone there my whole life , I don’t like how they had someone watching me everytime I went in. I rather go to the other Beauty store .

I will agree with the others...not very helpful! Their prices are too high to have such a demeanor. I tried in a wig..signage ACROSS the other room...you have to BUY A CAP for $1 BUT can only try on 3 wigs. I was taking off the 3rd one when she came.running with her fake smile....how many is that?? I said nevermind and didnt purchase anything. Its bad business to lose a $85 wig sale over a $1 stocking cap. Either way...it was supposed to be HUMAN hair...felt more like a synthetic blend. Please be careful when purchasing as they have NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. I can find that same wig thru another dealer or Amazon

Yesterday, I went to this beauty supply store just to browse and I’ve been there plenty of times. They have new people here, usually when I come in, I’m greeted but this time, nope. I was a bit uncomfortable because I felt like I was being watched. The Asian lady stood at the end of the aisle and stared at me for a little then walked off. I immediately left, won’t be going their again!

They have a big selection but the staff is not willing to help. I usually go to Kirea beauty and they are always helpful. They will look at the hairstyle my daughter is going to get and show us what hair they recommend in different price points. There were two young girls working and one had a hard time explaining the different selections and the other told me they “might” have more stock but then said everything they had was out on the sales floor. I’m not familiar with the different braiding styles and brands of hair so it’s not useful to me if they have a large stock but no one is there to help the customer.

This beauty supply is huge, nice and neat. The prices are good and the people who work here are helpful. I always go here or send clients here to get their hair. They have a frequent buyer program too.
