JZ Nails

This review is long overdue because the ladies at JZ nails have been taking care of my nails for years! They are so talented at gel nail extensions and designs. I usually go to Lena or LaLa, but all of the staff are talented and kind so you’re always in good hands. And they give the best massages too! Such a Brooklyn gem.

I got my nails done here for my wedding, and I absolutely loved them! I showed my nail specialist a photo of what I wanted, and she made them look exactly the same, even better in person. She was so kind, professional, and made sure every detail was perfect. My nails turned out beautiful, elegant and matched my wedding look perfectly. Highly recommend!!!!

Be careful when getting Gel X extensions here. I came by Sunday night and already had a nail fall off yesterday due to improper technique. My tech tried adding glue where there was gel missing on my nail to help it stay on but that didn’t help. A lot of my nails are lifting and have gaps between my real nail and the extension. I am thankful they take walk in as i came by around 6:30 pm but they are not professional technicians with correct and proper application techniques. Also it was my first time doing cat eye and she also left a blob of product on my thumb. I was very dissatisfied with this salon.

I’ve been coming here for about a year to get hard gel manicures - and swear by them! I usually get a small design or basic color but their work will last me 4-6 weeks between visits and is among the more affordable salons I have found in the city.
