John has been cutting my hair almost 20 years and has never missed a beat. By far the most talented barbers in upstate ny. Place is very clean and family oriented with everything up to date. John is amazing at tapers fades anything u can think of he’s the man to do it. Don’t go anywhere else. I recommend 100/10 stars

Jurs is the best barbershop in Rochester! John Jurs is a master barber and has been cutting my hair for 5 years. His skill level is unmatched! He teaches his staff techniques and best practices that are cutting edge in the industry. You won’t be disappointed!

JUR WAS NOT ONLY LATE TO THE APPOINTMENT BUT HE CAME OUT OF THE BATHROOM LIKE 20 minutes later with his shirt tucked into his boxers. BTW the 5 star google reviews are all family members or friends. Jurs is the owner and he can’t even fade. You are better off going to Super Cuts. They are not friendly at all. Jur talks like he knows everything but can’t even fade. DONT GO HERE THESE ARE MOSTLY FAKE GOOGLE REVIEWS. Jur is the worst barber at his own shop so embarrassing. He is very inconsistent with his cuts and he will cut ur hair the way that he likes it. Here’s a tip don’t tip this guy.

Cool Spot but I got the worst haircut of my life there. I don’t recommend Alec R for a haircut. He’s a fun and nice person but doesn’t know how to cut hair. I had to fix it myself and it looked way better than what he did. The price isn’t nearly worth the result. Pam from Ridgemont Plaza Great Clips saved the freaking day 2 weeks later as I needed another cut because Alec didn’t do anything.

I have been going to this barber shop for over ten year and tried many of the barbers. Some of young guys cutting hair have given me a bad haircut numerous times. Just not enough experience! The best Barber is and was Ralph. 50 years of cutting experience. Ralph was more than just a barber, he became a giving friend to his customers. He share his experiences and knowledge, gave away vegetables and tomato plants. He has a little black book of trade craft clients that could do painting, home repairs and auto repairs. Ralph was an old school barber that understood the value of building relationships.
