As a new patient of Dr. Yu, I was excited to be under his care. I had previously met the doctor and staff but already had a dentist. When I recently needed to change, I chose Dr. Yu. This was the best decision! Exceptional Hygienist: First, let me tell you the hygienist is by far the best in the business. My husband had a prior appointment and came home excited about the outcome, which made me anxious to see the results myself. Well, there is no one better. Dr. Yu and ALL of his staff made me feel extremely well cared for. I experienced them as professional, highly competent at each of their roles, and as good human beings. I am so grateful that I got to have this care team for an intense dental procedure. Dr. Yu is one of the few who choose to accept Medicaid patients- for a ridiculously low price- for the procedure I required. I know I received the same high level of care as everyone he serves.

First, I wanted to recognize the front desk Associates for how respectful and caring they have been. They are great with communication and making sure I had everything I needed for my appointment. Dr. Jun Yu & his assistant were absolutely incredible. I had gotten 2 teeth extracted and was super nervous about the procedure. During my consultation, he was very thorough in explaining what the risks are and what to expect, and prepared me on what to bring because I was super nervous. During the procedure, I was having a hard time calming myself down at first, and they were very patient with me and very sweet and encouraging the whole time. I’ve generally appreciated the dental care provided here, but I was disappointed by a recent interaction regarding a small outstanding balance I was previously unaware of. The communication from the assistant felt passive-aggressive and unprofessional. I was especially surprised by the mention of sending such a small balance to collections without first ensuring I had clear notice or an opportunity to resolve it. Situations like this would be better handled with a direct phone call rather than passive-aggressive text messages, which felt unnecessarily confrontational. I completely understand that billing matters need to be addressed, but respectful and transparent communication makes a big difference. I hope future patient interactions, especially regarding billing, are handled more profes
