Julius Scissor

Going on forty years Julius is the only person who has cut my hair. His salon rivals the best art galleries of PHL or NY. Besides getting the best cut I always get off the chair having learned something new. My highest recommendation, five stars twice over. JS is a Philadelphia Treasure. And an incredible human being.

I loved this experience. The whole salon is like a museum - full of handmade creations and stories. I had a great time getting a haircut here. Julius is a very friendly, warm person. I don’t consider him only a hairdresser but a real artist. His studio is one of this places which you walk by and get in even only to say hi. Definitely gonna go back, not only for hair services but also for admiring Julius’ art and have a nice conversation.

By far the best haircuts I've ever gotten in Philly! Not only is Julius an outstanding stylist, he's courteous, informative via his haircare expertise and will keep you entertained with his wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend visiting his cozy and artsy salon in Center City.

I went to Julius for more than 20 years and never, not once was I ever disappointed. I always had a different style and a different cut. Julius is an artist. You will get a better cut. Just don't let him start to talk. LOL

Julius is the best stylist. His cuts not only look good right away but over time , they stay excellent as they grow out.
