J's Blossom Nail and Spa

A spot I have quickly come to love! All staff are very kind, courteous, and professional, bringing great skill to what they do. My sessions are predominantly with Amanda and Jason, with Jason having done the fabulous set pictured! I love their skill with nail shaping and mastery with nail builder gel. Even though J’s Blossom Nail and Spa is a location I discovered as a walk-in due to its proximity to where I currently live, it is no question as to whether I am willing to train across town to visit once I’ve moved this upcoming summer. Great place.

Always happy with the results I get here. Today Lynn did a great job on my nails and eyebrow wax. Yes, it’s a little expensive but you’re in South Loop so it’s to be expected if you want good quality and service I was also told by a friend that if you have a break or a chip up to 10 days after your appointment they will fix it for free. I have not had to use this service but it’s good to know it’s there- I think 10 days is generous. Also you can book online which is great

My appointment at the salon was this past Sunday for gel French tips with extensions. While the application initially looked beautiful, I was really disappointed to see that by Tuesday morning—less than 48 hours later—my middle finger nail had already chipped. Considering that both French tips and gel extensions are charged as add-ons specifically for their durability, I expected the manicure to last much longer. Furthermore, although I’ve generally enjoyed most of my previous experiences here, this is now the second time that a gel/no-chip manicure has chipped within just a few days. For the premium pricing, I would hope for better longevity and quality. Lily was my Nail Technician. Im very satisfied with nails and her service. I been coming to this shop for a few months now. The shop is beautiful and clean. All the nail Technician at this shop are nice respectful and they always give a warm welcoming

I love the atmosphere, as soon as you walk in the vibes are fabulous with all the pink and fake flower wall. That said, I'd rather have a proper massage chair than vibes for my pedicure. The chair is so bad for anything beyond aesthetics; I get almost nothing from it, especially if you put a pillow under your lower back, which I do recommend for comfort. I consider going other places just to get that proper nail salon massage chair. I'm also not a fan of how much they try to upsell me. Every time they'll give you the full pedicure menu to ask which you want. Not the end of the world, but be prepared if you walk in with a budget. What frustrates me more is how every single time I get pushed for hard gel nails. That said, they do do a great job at nails. They consistently provide great q
