Joy Nails

After reading the reviews I truly think this salon cheaps out by using a cheap brand of polish. Came here for the first time just to get a nude color polish on Tuesday. The next day this is how my nails looked. Went back and was told regular polish only last 2 days. Ummmm since when !? Told them I just wanted the polish off and clear polish. Was told because it’s not their fault I will have to pay $12 more. Will not be returning to this salon.

This is place is absolutely a JOKE. John did my nails and he’s the manager. My nails looks like a kid did it. It looks like I have on some cheap press-on. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place does not deserve any stars to be honest.

I don’t get my nails done frequently. Not really my thing so I would say I’m generally easy to please compared to most. I’m writing this review not because of the nails, but because of the service. I was especially impressed that a very elderly patron was there and they were giving her 10 star treatment. It’s the way I would want someone to treat my mother. Her nails looked like a million bucks, and she walked out feeling like a star. They also provide a beverage. Great experience!

Everyone was super nice. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. And their playlist is outstanding my new go to place as a new resident to the area.

Unfortunately, I had to go back and update my original 5-star review from a year ago. John had been my regular nail tech for the past year (I religiously get my SNS done every 2-3 weeks). It was great...until it wasn't. As time went on, I began to notice that the effort level/quality of my nails. began to decline. In one visit, I asked for a slim rectangle shape, however he forgot and began doing a coffin nail. I commented on this and his response was to "leave it like this and come back to fix it next time." Absolutely not. I requested the shape I'd asked for, which required tips to be put on my nails in order to be fixed.
