Journeymen Barbershop

OK, first things first I don’t get my haircut there. I called them on a Saturday to ask what time they closed. In a very rude voice the dude said I can’t get anybody today. I’m about to walk out the door. Again, that’s how he answered the phone after I said, what time do you close? I explained to him that I just needed a couple of gift certificates for my son-in-law. Then the whole conversation changed. When I walked in there was one gentleman getting his hair done and one guy doing nothing. If I were to want to get my hair done. It seems like they would’ve said no even though there was one gentleman not doing anything. But once I said that I called about a couple of gift certificates, his whole attitude changed. I unfortunately have to leave a negative review. I have taken my child there three times now. Upon trying to schedule his fourth I was informed that it is somehow rude to check and go through my child's hair in front of the barber. I offered to pay double for a double time slot and was told that wasn't the problem that it was a respect thing. I asked about what would be the policy if I checked his hair outside after they were done and he just told me that they would move on to the next customer and no haircut is perfect and that I would basically just have to deal with it. So not going to fix it or refund me my money if I am not happy after we are done but I am supposed to just blindly trust that they did a good job. Great people, great conversations, great haircut. It's very busy on Saturdays, so if you need to have a weekend cut I reccomend booking an appointment first.

Hayden has been my barber for years and I couldn’t be happier with his service and performance. The rest of the guys in the shop are solid people and it’s a great atmosphere to be in, always a good experience. HIGHLY recommended!
