Journal Newspaper

If you want any information about Berkeley County, other than fluff you can only find it in the Hagerstown Herald. This "news" paper has gone so far downhill. I would absolutely never recommend this paper,unless you need it to line a bird cage or garbage can.

These people are taking advantage of any subscriber that only "got"the weekend papers, taking one away, still charging the full amount and not refunding anything if you cancel ! The editor himself lied to us about this and how it was to be 'fixed' . He also mentioned how they do tend to hire incompetents. NICE!

Tried digital subscription in April, nothing worth reading in this paper. Canceled May 5 and had to pay for May anyway. No bill in June, but they billed me again today (July 5). The person on the phone was rude both times and supervisor didn't respond to my May 5 email. Don't do business with these people.

I must say I was sad to let this subscribtion go byt was forced to do so. Ive been resident of Berkeley County, (the south end of the county, Inwood) for 40 years. My entire family (4 households) used to pay for this paper every single year I recently decided i would not contribute to it any longer after watching the the sports colum treat anyone other than Martinsburg High School like we the red headed step children. I believe this paper is for the entire county but its not wrote like it. I don't believe people should buy this paper any longer unless you are martinsburg , and i mean no bad towards them or the kids. Its simply unfair to all others and only fair to them.

I called this morning to ask where my paper was twice and was hung up on. I then called back to talk to someone in charge and was told that the paper was now going out at 9am. Some service for morning service. The most rudest people to deal with when you are a paying customer. You can not get a refund if you stop service. Will not renew
