Pleasant environment, but the cut was not as soft as the pictures of the type of style I showed her I desired. I received a more masculine cut, with the sides taken off a bit too much. When I expressed that I was not completely satisfied with the results, Joi seemed to play it off as if it was just the product in my hair that made the cut not look how I expected, but that was not the case. To me, her responses to my dissatisfaction came off a bit disingenuous. That said, Joi's overall demeanor was reasonanly professional, but I will not be patronizing this business again. This experience has just enforced my preference for doing things myself. The results were most certainly not worth the $100 I spent.

I am often the only male at her Salon, but Joi does a great men's haircut and I have been there many times! She is hardworking and has a good scheduling system. I was a little surprised the first time that I went there that you paid ahead of time and asked to tip ahead of time. Well you do not have to tip ahead of time, you can just bring tip money with you, however you do have to pay ahead of time. Once you have given her a chance, you will go back and you will understand her system. She is certainly convenient in the Del Ray area, but she is also good at her craft.

Overall, I had a great experience with Joi, from easy booking to feeling so comfortable and well taken care of while getting my hair cut. I love my new style and received helpful hair care tips, which is a major plus!

Joi is amazing and her artistry is remarkable! I get stopped regularly regarding her two strand flat twists, including by other stylists! I also appreciate that she does this while caring for my hair. Absolutely love her (and her playlist :)).

Joi is such a great hair dresser. She cuts my hair and I always feel sassy afterwards! She cuts in current styles and uses products that bring out the best in your hair. Highly recommend!
