I was sitting waiting for a haircut there was ten people ahead of me and there was a good amount of people behind me so a pregnant woman with two of her kids with her that was inline behind me asked her oldest son he must be around 10 to go next door Cumberland farms to get her a water John replied if he leaves he loses his spot I think the mom could sit in for her son as he gets his mom a drink so I’m took myself and my kids elsewhere after that and I’m a Halifax resident!!!

My son is pickier than a vegan at a Texas BBQ, and my son straight-up told John, “If you mess up my cut, I will sue you.” John didn’t flinch. He just laughed like a man who’s stared into the abyss—and gave it a fade. “Challenge accepted,” he said. Spoiler alert: My son walked out looking so fresh, he’s been checking himself out in mirrors, spoons, and car windows ever since. John, you’re not just a barber. You’re a miracle worker with clippers. 💈🔥

I love John. He is probably one of the most stand-up guys I have ever met. What he does for his community is simply amazing. He also gives an amazing haircut.

Excellent barber shop. Great group of barbers that are equally skilled with haircuts and conversation. Highly recommend!

Our son has been scared of haircuts forever. John and Sons is now a routine dad and me haircut day, and he absolutely loves going. They both come out looking fresh and fantastic every time 👌
