JJ's Nails & Spa - Lake Barrington

My mom and I set up a mani/pedi appointment together. Unfortunately, it didn't really work out where we both had our own Tech for the manucure, and it felt a little rushed. My mom didn't really get the Massage portion she paid for. Not the best job, But great pedicure massage chairs. Decent price- $55 included the extra massage time with the pedicure, as well as a sugar scrub. She sponsors a lot of different spa type procedures as well. Those need to be arranged with the independent techs in advance.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could! I just had THE BEST pedicure I've EVER had, and I've been getting them for 30 years! I should have gotten the gal's name but it was the older woman. She was so meticulous gentle, and she gave an amazing massage. Can't recommend her enough!!

I’ll come back to put a photo after a no-chip manicure with Sophea, but THIS pic is after 3.5 weeks. Before Sophea — for the 35 years I had manicures — only acrylics, or something like that, would last. Even when others gave me a no-chip, it still wouldn’t last more than 5 or 6 days before fraying at the ends. Never even a whole week. I’m rough on my hands. Sophea changed everything 4 yrs ago. Every no-chip she does lasts at least 3 weeks. And they look nice while they grow out. Every day of the year my nails look neat and professional. JJs is super reasonably priced. They always try to work with your schedule. The staff couldn’t be nicer. You will never go to another salon again. You might not even want to move out of the area ... because there’s only one JJs. Sophia and her staff are so friendly and welcoming and my nails look natural, which I love. I highly recommend this nail salon.

Just had a spa pedicure from Anna - it was great and I highly recommend! Very nice people and comfortable salon!
