I can understand why some reviews felt like the hair stylist is rude or careless given the blunt approach he takes to understand the style you want. However, my overall experience was great. First off, he took ample time to understand the style I wanted (even though I didn't quite know what I wanted going in). He was very knowledgeable about the different hairstyles, and getting the haircut was pleasant. The conversations we had (in Korean) were also very thoughtful and memorable. In the end, my hair came out great. I would highly recommend if you're in the area!

Took my daughter for a haircut. This was our first time at this salon as we were visiting from out of town and this place was recommended to us by a family member. My daughter carefully grows her hair out for several years so she can donate 8" and still have hair past her shoulders. We have been to other salons where the stylist carefully measures, ties off each section at the right spot, and cuts. We understand that after the initial cut some shaping needs to be done, so we anticipate that about 10" will need to be taken off total and we plan for that accordingly. She and I have been donating our hair for years, so this isn't our first experience requesting this type of cut.
