Reside so close and knew nothing of this spot. Walked in and was able to get an amazingly good wash by Mercedes. Rolled by Maria and went under the dryer for an hour. Blew out my roots and pinned them up. The spot is convenient and intimate. If you dont know about it you would pass it. I never this spot was here.

I’ve been getting my hair done here for years. I started coming to the hair salon when I had a pixie cut for many years and wanted to grow my hair out. I come in on a regular basis for wash, set, deep conditioning and blowing drying. I am able to get highlights all while maintaining healthy beautiful hair. Maria, the owner, and the rest of the staff are all wonderful, not only do they do good work but the salon has a family atmosphere. I highly recommend Jessy & Maria, appreciate their expertise and trust their recommendations!

I feel genuinely terrible writing this review because the women at the salon were so kind. But what happened to me is so severe that I have to warn others in this area. Last week, I went in for a simple wash and blow dry on my highlighted/DYED hair. A few days later, as I wash my hair, I was hit with an overwhelming sulfur (rotten egg) smell. It immediately began to MELT OFF in chunks in my hands. I was horrified. If you know anything about hair, you know you CANNOT put a relaxer on already-dyed hair. It will literally MELT your hair off and cause a chemical cut. The damage can linger for YEARS. I went to an emergency appointment at another salon, and they confirmed this is a severe chemical cut. This was caused by a relaxer being applied to my pre-dyed hair—something that should NEVER

I’ve enjoyed service and results here over the years so it’s unfortunate I have to leave this review. Similar to another customer’s experience shared a month ago, after a wash, blow dry, and flat ironing, my hair was burned and smelled of sulfur, worse if I sweated. My hair was unusually bone-straight and had the texture of a silk wig. My 4C hair mimicked relaxed hair and it would barely stay wrapped. My hair doesn’t behave this way. This blowout didn’t not volumize over the week as normal and I noticed hundreds of extra fine, silky strands in the comb, brush, and on the floor after a few days. Upon finally washing my hair a startling amount of wet straight locks melted into the comb and what remained was unrecognizable hair flat to my head — still smelling of sulfur. Not sure what happen

A place that really knows hair. Annie, Maria, and Isabel are wonderful. I felt like I was sitting with family. I was feeling really down this morning. Now I feel great 🫶🏼 Reasonably priced for what they do
