Jess Malat Bodywork

This is my second time seeing Jess for a massage. The only that I didn’t like about my first time was that it was too short!!! Jess is truly something special. She creates a safe and inviting environment. She engages in the right amount of dialogue before, during, and after about your experience to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. There is no one that I would recommend more than Jess for a massage!

Jess asked many questions to gage the type of session we would have including lighting, room temp, mental and emotional state. I received a specialized focus on my chest scars from my trans masc top surgery, as well as other areas of attention. I left with a lovely cup of tea as a parting gift and feeling like i could float away from how loose and light she made me feel. she gently talked me through breathing and allowing my body to fully relax. If you’re trans, please go see Jess, if you’re not, still go see Jess!

I feel so lucky to live so close to Jess’ practice. She is thoughtful about how you are feeling when you arrive and takes that into account during the massage. Her space is so peaceful and serene. I feel reborn when I’m come out of my massage🐣thank you Jess!

I had a fantastic experience with Jess. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and cared for. Her consent forward practices with discussions pre & post session (and check ins during) make you feel very held. I was able to achieve the relaxation and tension release in just the ways we discussed pre sessions.

Jess is absolutely stellar! For anyone seeking to improve their mental, spiritual, and physical health, do yourself a favor and book some time with Jess. I'd never tried reiki before and I really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere Jess creates is very relaxed; she made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire session. You can tell how much intention she puts into her work and how much she truly cares about your well-being. After my session, she even offered me an herbal tea to go! Above and beyond. My highest recommendations!
