Vida did an amazing job cutting my son’s curly hair. She was patient, gentle, and really knew how to work with his curls so they came out looking clean, defined, and natural. You can tell she truly understands curly hair and takes her time to get it right. Jersey Curls is a great place to bring your kids if they have curly hair. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and make the whole experience comfortable for both parents and children. The environment is warm and positive, and they really know what they’re doing.

Leslie cut and styled my daughters hair and it turned out so beautiful. She took the time to explain the best styling process, what kinds of products to use on her curls when she has time vs rushed. The salon was super zen and peaceful with gorgeous plants and they offer customers tea and coffee. Looking forward to bringing my other girls, thank you!!

I brought my mom here as a birthday gift, and the experience was honestly amazing. She got a full haircut and treatment, and the stylist even taught her how to take care of her hair and style it at home. Her transformation came out beautiful, and she’s already talking about coming back. The salon itself feels really welcoming everyone was friendly and the environment was comfortable. I even plan on booking an appointment for myself soon since I’ve got curls too. Definitely a great spot.

I’m sorry to write this review because the first time I went they did an absolutely phenomenal job with my hair, but they seriously messed up my hair the second time I went. Now before I begin, I purposely went to this salon an hour away from my house because I knew they specialized in curly hair and I had such a pleasant experience with them beforehand. I originally got a curly cut with simple caramel highlights in October and it was gorgeous. I don’t let anyone touch my hair and it was my first time going to a salon in years and to get such beautiful results they instantly had my trust. Well, this August I returned to them to do something a bit more noticeable, I wanted a caramel color but a bit lighter with lighter pieces and a cut. I'm very insecure about my hair. I have been trying to grow it out but always felt my locks were lacking. I called Jersey Curl Salon after seeing the great results from my sister's hair. The salon doesn't have a parking lot so you will need to seek out a space through meter or residential parking. The salon was clean and there is a water cooler and coffee machine in the waiting area for guests. I was seen right away with Wendy, a sweetheart. All clients are requested to show up with hair completely dry and detangled and left as is, no clips, braids, no products or anything that will take away from how your hair naturally sits.
