Marlene and Jaqueline are the best. Been coming here for over 12 years! Can’t believe it’s been this long! They never disappoint and have my complete trust!
As a hairdresser myself, I am picky about who touches my hair, of course. After my former boss/friend / hairdresser for years moved out of NY she recommended going to Marlene at Jean Francois Michelle Hair Design. She had worked with her for a bit and had nothing but great things to say about Marlene and her staff. I took her advice and have been extremely happy for over a year now. I love my highlights and cut !! Plus, the salon is absolutely charming and eclectic, and I highly recommend it.
From my daughter, who gets her haircuts here: “People are super nice and friendly and I love the easy they cut my hair.” Appointments are easy to book and they are very accommodating. Ask for Jacqueline if you meed a short haircut. And the prices are unbeatable for the area. I am only giving it 4 stars because parking can be a bit challenging on Nassau Blvd.
Jackie has been doing my hair for years. I have really thick curly hair and she gives me the best blowouts with great prices.
Went in for a walk-in today and left feeling like a million bucks! Great atmosphere and customer service, will definitely return!
