JD Barber Shop

I visited this barbershop based on a recommendation, specifically to see the barber seated to the right when you first walk in. I arrived on a Tuesday around 2:00 PM, and he mentioned that he had a 3:30 appointment. I told him I only needed a quick lineup. Instead of simply saying he wasn’t available, he referred me to another barber. I explained that I came specifically for his service, and if he wasn’t willing to take me, I’d take my business elsewhere. I’m leaving a one-star review due to the poor customer service. It’s disappointing to see a barber turn away a straightforward request, especially when I came in ready to pay. I value professionalism and good customer care, and unfortunately, I didn’t experience either during my visit.

Ethan was amazing with my nephew, who usually has a lot of fear around haircuts. He was patient, kind, and really interactive with him from start to finish. He gave him choices, respected his sensory needs, and made his haircut look great. I also accidentally messed up the payment at first, and when my tired mind realized what I did and I fixed it, he was completely understanding about it. That meant a lot. I really appreciate how well Ethan worked with kids who can get anxious or overwhelmed. My nephew said he wants to go back to him again in the future, which is a huge win. Highly recommend Ethan!

One of the best barbershops in town. This is a family owned business and it seems to me that the people here actually care about the customers and what they want their hair cut to. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a haircut, or just wants to get a design or trim.

Will was my barber, 1st time visiting the shop, won’t be the last! Will was prompt, made sure to consult with me on the style I was going for and most importantly did a fantastic job, it took a little extra time but I appreciated him taking the time it needed to make sure it was the best cut I’d had in years. The entire shop was full of personality and charm and it was a pleasure to sit back and enjoy a nostalgic barbershop experience from beginning to end, I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Amazing experience! The entire staff is so kind and welcoming. Will did a fantastic job on my son’s haircut. He listened to what we wanted and replicated it. We will definitely be returning!
