JCPenney Salon

I wouldn't even give this salon a 1 star but couldn't comment otherwise. I had a terrible experience at this location by an employee who was to trim my hair and update highlights. She butchered my hair . I cried I felt to embarrassed to even walk out of the door. I called and got offered conditioning treatment. For what a butcher job. The manager herself even said there was nothing they could do, from how bad it was chopped. I will be sending pictures and reaching out to higher up. I've now how to spend over 1000 to get it it somewhat fixed with exstentions from other salon. Her license should be taken. No excuses. Or worse .

I have waited a little over a week before posting any comments about my experience just to try and calm my temper down and control my dissatisfaction… I just moved to Ohio and needed my highlights/roots touched up and had no idea where to go. I thought long and hard about who I would trust and decided that the JC Penny salon in Boardman would be a “safe bet” but boy was I WRONG! My hair typically takes 2-2.5 hrs to highlight. I was at the salon for over 5 hours, and that includes me leaving with totally wet hair. It took so long to foil that we had to rinse out the bottom foils before all of the top foils were even in. I came into the salon with soft manageable hair and left with dry, frizzy hair that I can barely comb through. Most of my roots look untouched, I have leopard spots, whic

I want to give a huge shoutout to Briana. She did my perm today and it looks phenomenal. She was so friendly and helpful the entire process and even recommended products for me to use on my new hair journey. I recommend going to see her! THANK YOU BRIANA!!!!

I am absolutely livid over the experience. I went through this evening.. I have a once in a lifetime interview tomorrow afternoon. I scheduled a haircut for 7:15 PM this evening and when I got there, the girl that I had scheduled with pushed me off to a gentleman who was unable to cut my hair in the style that I was asking for and said that it would take far too long this close to closing for him to be able to cut my hair in anyway like I would like. So now it is 745 the evening before my once in a lifetime interview and I have a fuzzy dead mop on my head and will not be able to get another salon scheduled before my interview. I am literally in tears because of the way I was treated by the employees at this salon.. If I could give zero stars, I would
