Update: Paige began offering extension services and I cannot be more pleased with how amazing they come out every time! She transforms my thin/fine bob into beautiful, long hair. This salon is a hidden gem! I came here on a whim a few years ago when my usual salon canceled my appointment, and I had an event to go to. Paige took me in very late in the afternoon for a full color correction, and my hair came out beautiful. I am very indecisive with my hair, and like to go from jet black to platinum blonde every few months, and Paige always gives me what I ask without jeopardizing the integrity of my hair. I’ve been coming here since, and everyone is so kind and helpful!!!!

If your time has any value, do not bother coming here. I used to be a regular customer and would happily wait 15–30 minutes when they were visibly busy. However, I walked in today to a completely empty waiting area—not a single customer in sight—and was told it would be an hour and 15-minute wait. It shows a complete lack of organization, poor management, and zero respect for customers' time. Save yourself the frustration and take your business to a place that actually wants it. I will absolutely never be back

I recently visited JCPenney’s Salon, and while my experience had its ups and downs, I have to give major credit to Kate, the hairstylist. She is absolutely amazing! Kate is professional, attentive, and incredibly skilled. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a flawless result. My hair has never looked better, and I’ll definitely be returning to see her. Unfortunately, my interaction with the front desk left a lot to be desired. The woman working there was rude and dismissive, which made checking in and out an uncomfortable experience. A bit of kindness and professionalism would go a long way in creating a welcoming environment for clients. Despite this, I can’t recommend Kate enough—she is a true gem at JCPenney’s Salon. I was talked into a quick express cut which was priced at $25 on the pricing brochure which was not a problem since I only required a trim, when I was seated at the stylist station we went over the trim I wanted, I was keeping the style I had it just required trimming , during the consultation she never explained or informed me of the different stylist levels and the difference in what each level of stylist could charge. So for a quick dry, no shampoo, no conditioner, no blowdry , no style trim I was beyond surprised when I was told at the register that I was being charged $40 instead of the expected $25 because the stylist was a "master level cutter" and her rates were different. She should have made sure I understood that before the service..... I will not be going back.

I got a perm here 3 days ago, first lady told me 75$ then after the perm she put some products in my hair and later I found out your not supposed to do that?! So after that I went to pay ended up being 135! And my hair was basically flat by the time I hit the parking lot?! So I patiently waited 3 days and didn't wet it or put anything in it just to see if it was going to look like it's supposed to after I wash it the 4th day , well I'm really disappointed because my hair is flat with no indication of me ever even getting a perm?!? So where do I go from here ?
