Type 4 natural here. Went to Ashanae to get a silk press and trim. She was super sweet and personable! You can tell she truly cares about the health of your hair and she had great recommendations for taking care of my ends in the future. The price is right too. Will be back to get my two strand twists.

Terrible experience. We showed an image of what the hair should look like which was a caramel brown color. The hair was only caramel brown at the top the rest of the hair does not even look like it was dyed. It was $150 took 3 hours and for no good reason. It is so patchy you can still see even grey hairs. Do not go here. And to make matters worse bad customer service. The stylist was rude and did not care. Save your time, and money go somewhere they actually care about the customer experience.

The lady was stand offish, she was not upfront about prices when we had asked at the desk, we had called up earlier that day and asked how much a regular haircut was and we were told 35. I got the haircut and she washed, cut, and blow dried as expected but when we got to the register, she charged 55. We asked why it was 55 since when we called they said 35, she said since she’s a senior stylist it was 55. We were never told this when we asked over the phone and when we asked in person before the haircut. When we asked why the price change, she changed the story and said everyone’s basic charge was 45 and then she said that 35 was starting, she kept going between these two. We asked to speak to a manager and they then said the extra 20 was for the blow dry but they had previously said it wa

I was previously doing my own hair as I was between stylist. I've always had good hair so that wasn't an issue but finding someone to do what I liked was. I've had three stylist here all great, currently with Benita. My color is fantastic and lasts. The cut is absolutely right on! I love it and so do my family and friends. I've even had compliments from people out in public. Getting a great stylist makes all the difference and Benita and Shallotta I can recommend, Wednesday if she comes back.

They have a great deal around the beginning of school for kids. $10 a pop. We've taken our son twice in 3 weeks and we may keep it a monthly routine. One stylist, a young lady, was honest and said she did not work well with young boys (something I really appreciated) and the next person was great. I am sorry I cannot comment on the ladies side much, though I think for a color and style it was $70. The ladies walking out looked nice.
