Online it said $65 for a hair cut, but arrived and was told $80 for long hair. I was never told this on the phone when booking the appointment. "Claudia" cut my hair and it felt very rushed. She "curled" my hair, so I wasn't able to see how uneven and ridiculous my cut looked until the next time I washed and dried my hair straight. I don't understand how a professional hair dresser cuts hair like this, it's seriously unbelievable! I'm going back to ask them for a FULL REFUND. I don't trust anyone there to try to fix my hair, I'll only accept a refund! I spoke with a manager named Desiree who said she'd talk to the salon manager, so I'll update my review after they tell me if I'll be getting refunded. I just want to give a big thank you to Grace for always styling my hair so beautifully! I absolutely love the curls—she’s truly amazing at what she does. Not only is she talented, but she’s also kind, professional, and makes every visit such a great experience. I’m very disappointed with the recent experience I had with Jeannette at the JCPenney Hair Salon. I trusted her enough to let her lighten my hair, knowing she had just started doing hair professionally. I wanted to support her and help her gain experience. Unfortunately, the result was so bad I had no choice but to go to another salon to have it fixed. While Jeannette did offer to correct her mistake, I simply didn’t feel comfortable letting her touch my hair again after what had happened. I even reassured her multiple times that it was okay and not to worry about it. Despite that, she became upset that I didn’t give her the chance to fix it, and she ultimately cut off communication with me. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I called first to book an appointment and was sadly deceived by their politeness. I went in and shows the stylist a photo of the style of curls I wanted. They were supposed to be large spiral curls, not even close, I came out looking like I had just crimped my hair the way I did in the 80’s. She assured me she could make my hair look like the picture and even when I told her the curlers looked way too small, she again assured me this would get what I wanted. I have had a spiral perm before with small tight curls that were springy and cute, that is what I wanted only a larger curl.
