JCPenney Salon

Had an extremely negative customer service experience with "master" stylist Gloria. She was rude from the get-go, I was donating my hair and after I redid one of her ponytails to my desired length, she criticized the manner in which I tied my hair, saying I was "taking forever". I should have left then. Before washing my hair, I warned her to avoid touching my ear because I recently had it pierced. She responded by remarking that people shouldn't get "piercings like that" and making clear that she did not approve of my choice, which was very rude and out of place. She proceeded roughly without caution, hitting my ear multiple times, the last of which was so hard that my earring was partially displaced. She apologized after I yelled out in pain, and then rushed through the rest of the serv

I’ve been using the JcPenny Salon with Margarita for over 5 years. The salon is always clean and inviting and of course Margarita is outstanding and so knowledgeable.

My daughter and i went for highlights. I asked for lightest blonde highlights and ended up with medium to dark blonde all over with barely visible highlights which is pretty much exactly what i had when I went in. I told a stylist it wasn’t what I told her.. I did not get a hair cut or style. They wanted to charge $360, but I was irate so they charged $250! My daughter wanted blonde highlights too, and she ended up with gray hair. I asked her if she wanted gray hair. She said she wanted blonde. I asked the stylist what can you do about it? No one would respond to me. They were all talking to each other but they weren’t responding to me. I asked over and over: What can you do to fix this? Can you put a toner on to warm the color up? The lady did finally respond by just getting ready to put

I got off of work and I know it's a Sunday and not many places are open today for hair cuts but I called this place in advance and the lady who answered said she would be able to take me in. I got to the mall 15 minutes before closing and waited in their lobby for over 5 minutes only to be told she wouldn't take me in. I assume she didn't understand me over the phone when I spoke in English because she spoke to me in Spanish in person. Made me waste a trip to the mall for nothing. Keep in mind I called in advance to make sure they'd be able to take me in. Thanks for nothing.

We found a nice necklace and earrings set that was on sale, got it for a good price. It was a great gift, but when it came time to pay a lady cut in front of us and decided they were more important than a clear line waiting to pay, and the cashier said and did nothing they ended up chatting it up a little taking longer. I usually never write reviews like this but it was wrong.
