Hello, I'm Monica again, just to change my opinion about the salon... after a few days the manager Avril contacted me to find out what had happened and when I explained the situation to her, she invited me to come back and do the work herself. Today I returned with a bit of fear. Avril and Carmen, another lady from the place, did an excellent job on my hair and I was extremely happy with the result. I recommend JCPENNY SALON 100%. Thanks to manager Avril for calling me and to Carmen for having an excellent touch.

Please do not take your curls here! The stylist completely butchered my 3 year olds curls and left him with a rat tail. The photo taken was as we were walking out. The crazy part is the manager didn't even admit the job was bad. BEWARE!!!

I booked a kid’s cut for my 11 year old daughter (stated as $20 when booking). Carmen tried to charge $55 and after much discussion, dropped it to $45 as if it was a favor. She said she blow dried the hair and curled it and that was extra. I mentioned that blow dry is a part of the service listed and she said that is only for one pass with the hand dryer and the child leaves with wet hair for the $20 price. The curling charge is what she dropped and later I learned that she asked my daughter twice if she wanted it curled and she said no both times, just blow dried. I’ve been up charged many times at this salon without my consent but it’s usually about $10 extra so I’ve just dealt with it. This time I’m done- I don’t know why I tolerated this for so long. $20 - $55?!? Without saying anythin

I had my highlights done and hair blowdried straight. My hair dresser was amazing! But I wasn't impressed with the store itself. It's very outdated and not really the type of atmosphere I'd want to have for going to get my hair done. There were issues with the registers as well.

After my stylist took personal leave, I've used a number of stylist. While I have to say for the most part it's been OK. My stylist knew how to cut my hair and knew how I liked my hair. She was awesome! Big shoes to fill. But today I arrive for a haircut and my stylist is a no show. That's unacceptable considering they called me yesterday to verify my appointment. My time is just as valuable as their time. It's time to move on, I think. It's sad because I really do miss my original stylist. She was top notch.
