JCPenney Salon

Unfortunately, I was part of a large group next door at the portrait studio. We had 17 children and parents, and the waiting area was very tiny and already occupied. We were also trying not to get in the way of other shoppers. While waiting an excessive amount of time, we began standing in front of the salon, not knowing it wasn't allowed. We were rudely told off by an older stylist (we didn't get a name). When other adults in our party arrived and unknowingly stood near the salon again, the stylist angrily yelled at them. As our children grew antsy and needed a restroom, they asked the stylist, who then flipped out on them. Once we understood not to stand near the salon entrance, we moved to the aisles, but the stylist still wasn't happy and called security on us. Fortunately, we weren't

Just booked an online $30 appointment to tone my blonde bangs into an ash white. Got a call for confirmation and was asked if I need any other services such as a blow dry? I told her no, I'm only doing a strip of hair so they would not need to wash my hair.. She said ok and hung up. She called me back 2 minutes later and said that she just got off the phone with her manager and her manager said that because they didn't dye the strip blonde that I would have to add the additional $30 blow dry.. How does that make sense? I immediately canceled my appointment.

Terrible, poor mannered salon. Especially the manager of the salon. I am disgusted with the experience we had. We had booked a appointment online for some pink highlights on my daughters hair. Needless to say 3 hrs later my daughter walked out of the salon with barley peach no where near pink highlights. $225.00 and was told to buy a $14.00 shampoo to keep the color in longer. Well 3 days later we wash her hair and it alllll came out! All of it! So we called the salon and they were nothing but nasty and rude, I was told to bring my daughter back in so they can look at it. When arriving to salon the manager was nasty so rude and didn’t even care about the issue. She said she would have someone add color to her hair again. They did but again! Walked out with peach hair! I want my money back!

Candice did such an amazing job on my hair! I had very long hair and wanted to chop it all off. I showed Candice a rough idea of what I wanted and she absolutely nailed it. She cut my hair so perfectly that it frames my face just right. She even styled it in a way that I would actually wear. Over all I am so impressed with my experience at jcpenny salon and with Candice that I will be seeing her exclusively.

Nicole did my daughter's hair for her prom and it came out amazing! She was so excited! Shirley is the best too! Wish I could post a picture!
