I have been going to the Aventura JcPenny salon for a few years now. I love my stylist Darlene. She has helped me transition from permed hair to natural hair. She is extremely knowledgeable about hair care. I have seen her work on every texture of hair over the years. In addition to being a professional, she is very personable.

I am a client of JC Penny hair salon for more than 13 years. My hair stylist Darlene has been doing my cut, color, highlights, blowouts and eyebrows for the last 13 years. She is the best. She is knowledgeable, experienced and kind. In my opinion she gets a 10star rating.

I’m disappointed with my experience at JCPenney Salon. They advertise one price, but once you arrive, you’re told it’s $10 more due to “long hair,” even though my hair is only shoulder-length. This was never clearly explained upfront. I don’t appreciate feeling taken advantage of or misled by pricing that doesn’t match what’s advertised. Transparency matters, and this experience fell short of that. Because of this, I won’t be returning.

Unfortunately they burn 🔥 my hair so bad that it’s imposible fix it. I had to go another salon to do some toner and now on I have to wait more than a year spend money in products to moisture my hair and wait to the burn hair grow could take more than the year. i had my root virgin to do a balayage and they couldn't. They refund the money cause I ask for, but the damage to my hair it’s irreplaceable… and in the date before Christmas! I’m speechless

They will change the price mid service. Deciding to charge you extra for toner during a double process for bleaching. Agreed upon price set before hand must be honored even if the stylist has to redo their own work on top of wasting my time. Would have loved to give them a second chance but don’t play with my money. Edit: added a photo of the banding left by BETSY that she tried to fix with toner that she tried to charge extra for and I’ll have to pay extra next time to fix the horrible banding she thought was acceptable and I had to force her to fix but she wouldn’t, she just used toner for a quick fix and then charged me extra cus she knew I’d never come back after she did such horrible things to my hair and my wallet.
