JCPenney Salon

I had my first visit with Jamie today and I was so pleased with The entire process. She seemed to know exactly what I wanted. I have fine hair and told her I would like to have my hair fairly close to the color of the extensions and they blended beautifully. She did a balayage with warm colors for fall. Also a cut and blow dry with curls. Before I got to the other end of the store I got 2 compliments. When I got to my Dr. Office afterward the receptionists were blown away by how nice it looked. Thank you Jamie! I’d give you 10 stars if I could! 🙏🏻

GO TO Nanette !!!!!!!! I legit am 100% sure I found my STL hair person. Even though she is im Alton. She highlighted my hair and cut. She is so kind &&& she knows what she’s doing. I haven’t been able to really find someone who I trust and can vibe with. BUT this girl is so good at what she does. She is professional, caring & did I mention how beautiful my hair turned out?! I promise request this girl also uh she does gel Nails and hers were so pretty so if you love gel nails get those done too!!!

I went in on a Saturday and by Monday morning my manicure had chipped off. I called to see if I could get them redone at no charge but was told the nail tech wouldn’t be in until the weekend, so I’d have to wait. I couldn’t wait until the weekend to get them redone, and explained that but the woman on the phone just kept saying “well...” as if that would fix the problem. Will never go back to their salon, and I certainly don’t recommend it. I paid $27 for a manicure that lasted 24 hours.

Have tried and tried to schedule an appt! The website kicks you out when you walk in they ALWAYS have a reason why they won’t cut your hair! I’ve brought my daughter here THREE times and every time there’s a reason they cannot do it!! I will NEVER come here for a hair service! Last time I was here I paid $70 for her haircut and wanted her to receive a good cut and they won’t even try to see her!

Giving this salon a 1 star is better than they deserve. I was so upset I walked out even aftet I was sitting in the stylist chair. I would like that hair stylist and her manager to know they lost out on the money for the service I asked for. I went to another salon the next day and received great service and my hair turned out terrific. Dori at Jc Penny told me that my hair would turn out horrible and she didn’t want to do it without signing release. Ms. Dori you were wrong and you cost you and your company a loss of money just cause you were tired and didn’t want to work. I will never go to JC Penny Salon in Alton again. The lady that checked me in that night also needs a attitude adjustment. This salon is hardly busy you think they would want all the business they could get but it’s jus
