Jazzy Hair Braiding

I’ve been going to Brooklyn for years to do my children’s hair. Someone recommended Jazzy and she’s been a godsend! Firstly, she was kind enough to accommodate my last minute appointment. Secondly, Jazzy and her staff was hospitable and kind with my children. Lastly, she and her staff did a great job with my son’s and daughter’s hair. Their grandma (who is very hard to please) gave a full throated approval and endorsement of their hairstyles!!! I’m happy to no longer having to commute to Brooklyn as I’ve found someone locally who is gentle, friendly and very good at her craft. Thanks DM

So today I needed my step daughters hair braided in 2 simple braids for an upcoming performance. I called the shop at 9 am and asked if she was available to do this and she told me yes at 4 pm. Around 12pm I stopped by her shop in person to double check and confirm if she could provide the service that I asked for and what hair she liked to braid with. She told me her preference and once again told me to come back at 4pm. I arrive at her shop at exactly 4pm to find it locked up and all the lights off. I even gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought she might have went to lunch. By 4:30 she still had not come back. All I have to say is Jazzy’s is extremely unprofessional. I asked if a service could be provided multiple times and each time she told me yes, just for her to stand us up

My braids came out very nice, though i did have one fall out around the edges, I'd consider that fairly normal. I arrived at my appointment time and the shop opened about 15 minutes later than my time. The lady that did my hair was very sweet. Medium 24 inch box braids took me about 6½ hours or so. I would still return again to get my hair braided.

Each and everytime I go to Jazzy's she does an excellent job! Consistently. She does not over charge and your hair looks beautiful. There's always a line outside her shop before they even open because her workmanship speaks for itself. And she's very nice.

I’m very pleased with the outcome. I got there Saturday morning and two ladies were half way done and Jazzy is quick herself but she get the job done right. I don’t feel any tightness in my head I’m happy with my braids. Even though it’s hard to find parking nearby but overall I was satisfied.
