If I can give this Salon 10 stars I would. It has Free parking in lot out front. It has a nail salon inside and a barbershop next door. There’s a variety of hair products. All the stylists are super helpful. They were very informative, understanding, honest, welcoming and respectful and most of all the fact that I asked her to just freestyle and then Alacazam boom wow, I’m in tears. Good job Jays Salon Hairstylist! I’m forever in your favor! You ladies made my day, my fiancés day and my daughter loves it. I have been looking for a hair salon near me for years. I have not found not one hair stylist in Beverly or near Beverly that can deal with my daughter’s hair texture and you ladies aced it. A+ for me. Thank you all so much. I walked in today 5/27/25, as a new client. I need the color to be fixed in my hair, trim, wash and blow dry. Zobeida, did exactly as I wished, and left my hair looking brand new. I am pleased that I found a new salon. Next week my mother will be going there for the same services. It is difficult to find good and knowledgeable stylists now and days. Zobeida was BOTH. I will be returning.

I am new to Beverly, MA. There are no black or Dominican Salons that I could find. Someone told me go to Union Street so I googled it and found Jay's Beauty Salon. I called because new town, new culture. In NYC, Dominican salons do only walk-ins. Not here. I made an appointment and I was set. For a Saturday appointment, I was ready to spend the whole day here because that is what I have always experienced but NOPE. I walked right into a chair with my stylist, Petronila. Don't steal my stylist but she is AWESOME. But as I look around, I think I would have been fine with anyone here. Petronilla hooked me up! I went in on a Saturday for a wash, blow out and trim. I was fortunate to get a same day appointment. Petronilla was very gentle with my hair and utilized high quality products in my hair. I asked her to reduce the amount of heat on the blow dryer because my hair gets heat damaged easily and she was respected my wishes. The trim was perfect and framed my face well. She also used the flat iron to give my hair a nice bump and applied extra heat protection for that. The salon is beautiful, clean and airy. I will definitely return!

Went last weekend for a blowout and one of the hairstylists relaxed my hair and mixed it in with deep conditioner. I didn't ask for relaxer and now my curls are ruined after years of growing it out.
