Jaya Hair Salon

My daughter and I went to Jaya Hair Salon for the first time for haircuts this past weekend. The salon is beautiful, clean, and well kept. Both Hugh and Cindy were so kind. We each brought pictures of the haircuts/hairstyles we wanted. They examined the pictures we brought carefully and allowed us to communicate what we wanted. The results were exactly what we hoped for. This is the first time a hair salon has ever given us exactly what we wanted. Hugh also has such an interesting technique for cutting hair and he is very skillfull at using hair cutting shears. We will certainly be back!

Update: after wetting my hair, I realized right side is much shorter than the left. Just very immature work. Not sure why no shampoo wash or blow-dry included in haircut. I asked for curtain bang and layering, it wasn’t much layer. Only tiny bit after I asked for second time. Front part where I can see is okay after second time trimming. But the back is just dull. No volume nor any movement. She did double check with length. I am happy with the length. However, the back layer has very visible scissor cut lines if I wanna put it up as a low ponytail. Which is why post cut blow dry is needed in order to check if the layers are connecting smoothly. Price is reasonable in the area if wash and blow-dry are included. After all, $70 for this experience is worse than home haircut.

I love Hugh’s technique and I recommend his services to everybody! Highly professional and very patient. He works diligentât to give you the best haircut imaginable! The salon is clean and modern. They use excellent hair products. Five stars!

I recently dyed my hair here. Color faded in less than 3 weeks. Spent $100 and I need to get my hair dyed again..

I went today and they gave me a great haircut! They followed the picture I showed really well! I would definitely go again :)
