Joe Scott is truly the greatest. I began coming here during my time at Kent, and despite moving to Cleveland, I continue to make the hour-long commute for every appointment. It is well worth the drive!

There is no other barbershop, within 60 miles of Portage County, like this one. I am going to review two barbers at this location. Joe has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I have never been left disappointed. He has squeezed me in, in times of need and has even stayed late once in order to meet my needs. His level of attention to detail is bar-none. If you are looking for a great cut with great conversation then he is your guy! Next person I would like to review is Joe "Rabbit". Rabbit has been cutting both my kids' hair for the last few years as well. I will say that I am not easy to please and my expectations are very high when it comes to the way my kids' hair looks. He has always remained patient and calm with both my boys. He has always sent them out of the shop looking "

My new barbershop hosting a delightful gentleman as well as my new barber Norm. I was a walk in and had twenty minutes, certainly worth the wait for Norm to return from his lunch. I shared a little of my recent affairs and some future plans of starting a business. His sound advice and unknown affirmation of this entrepreneur journey put a bounce in my step. Thank you Norm!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband has been going here for a few months now, with okay haircuts. Since he has had a good experience in the past, and his usual barber wasn't available, he trusted the other barbers would be equally good, so he tried seeing Jaeden for the first time. After showing him a picture, and describing what he wanted, Jaeden did not cut at all like what my husband showed him/described. The best way I can describe what he wanted was a classic side brushed comb over (like the first two pictures). He ended up with an incredibly uneven cut that almost looks like he has a wig attached to the top of his head (last picture). He tried going back to get it fixed, but there's only so much you can do when the cut has been completely botched. Now he refuses to go anywher

Since coming to Kent for school, I've had a really good experience with this barber. However, I decided to leave a review because I didn't really get the haircut I had asked for. I'm probably gonna have to wear a hat for the next few weeks, they cut my hair way too short and it really doesn't match the shape of my head, so it all out looks dumb. Customer service could have been a bit better too, but I don't expect as much of that as I do of the haircut.
