I’m giving one star because my expectations were not met. I chose this team after reading many positive reviews on Google and trusted them to do my hair and makeup for my friend’s wedding last October. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the result. I let the artist do their thing because I trusted their expertise, but the foundation shade used did not match my skin tone at all , there was a noticeable difference between my face and my chest. The makeup technique also did not complement my facial features. The overall look felt very generic and lacked personalization and refinement. I did not feel confident or beautiful that day, and I have honestly avoided looking at my photos since the wedding because I disliked how I looked. holy transformation!! my regular stylist was booked till august, so i went here per a friend’s recommendation. blown away!! highlight and color service was great, Nicole was so sweet and accommodating and Anthony did a wonderful job on my root shadow. this cut was a bit bolder than what i’m used to, but i LOVE it! Nicole replicated the reference photo to a T, couldn’t ask for more. for a cut and a foil, the price was great. first pic is before, second is reference photo, third is final product. thank you so much Jason Matthew salon 💕💕

I 1000% get now why all the girlies go to Jason Matthew- such an INCREDIBLE experience in center city!! I booked with Nat for her signature brush set and it did not disappoint! My hair was gorgeous like I’ve never seen it. Icing on the cake was how warm and friendly she was, I just loved sitting in her chair, she made me feel so good. And then Renee helped me find a freelance make up artist to come in- I cannot recommend Jen Ford/Faces by Fo Studio enough!! Jen understood the assignment, and made me feel so glowy and confident, my event was over at 2:30pm and I didn’t take my make up off until after midnight because I just loved it so much lol Long story short: book the brush set with Nat, and bring in Jen Ford for makeup- you’ll walk out feeling like a million bucks 🙌🏼💘

Jackie is the best. She has been doing my extensions for a few years and she gives an amazing blow out! Major plus - she loves dogs 🎀🫶🏼

Absolutely love this place. They treat you like a celebrity. You’re given a robe upon check in, the scalp massage with the hair wash is great, and the hair stylist listens clearly and helps you achieve the look you want. I was so pleased! Jess was my stylist this time and she was amazing. It’s definitely pricey — but as a woman who gets her haircut once a year, the $100 is worth it.
