I had My hair cut at this Salon for the first time and I was so pleasantly surprised when Bertha cut my hair. I’ve been looking for someone to cut my hair for years on Long Island every month. I had to drive to Brooklyn to see the guy that has been cutting my hair for 35 years. I sat in the chair and she literally gave me the same haircut. What a relief I live two blocks away from the Salon, I just moved into the neighborhood, Hope she’ll be around for a long time, anybody that needs their hair done and it’s a speciality cut go see Berta she’s amazing.!!!

Berta truly saved me in my hour of need last year. I explained what I needed help with, and she fixed my hair right away. Her years of experience and natural ability to assess my hair and perfect my layers were amazing—I’ve been coming back ever since. Iliana also has an outstanding ability to cut and style. She worked with my curl pattern and added beautiful layers. I’m so happy I found them and finally feel good about my hair.

Janbel Salon is such a warm, welcoming place thanks to Berta. She is such a kind and caring woman and treats all her customers with love and respect. She is also extremely talented and the only person I trust to cut my hair now! Definitely recommend!

Brought my 8 year old son here to get a haircut because he likes to keep it a little longer and wanted a salon experience over a barbershop. Berta was warm, friendly, and did a fabulous job! The salon was relaxing, welcoming, and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend!

Visited for the first time and so happy with how my cut and style came out. Iliana and her mom are just so sweet, welcoming, knowledgeable and easy going.
