Jamela Hair Braiding

I have been coming to this shop for at least 3 years. I called and scheduled my appointment like normal and brought 2 packs of boho hair like normal. I was told one price for knotless boho, cool. I get to my appt and they start looking at my human hair like you only need 1 pack. I say that will be thin I’ve always used 2 packs never been an issue. She proceeds to say it’s an extra $60 for the second pack. Since when ma’am? I don’t like people trying to get over bc this has NEVER been the case before. I do not have a problem paying people for their service but if that changed why didn’t the lady that booked my appt state that? Then the lady gets rude because I said I don’t want them to do my hair anymore. Tells another customer to come where I am currently standing. Like how is she gonna s

I've been going to this salon for yrs off& On and the last two times I have not been totally satisfied today I found out that they start charging $20. If your hair is short and my hair was supposed to come to my shoulders but it comes to my neck but nevertheless I'll work it out. I just enjoy the way the Females get along, so well I paid $190& brought my own hair!! I could've gotten a wig, and been more satisfied😌

They are so helpful and friendly. They take their time to ensure our braids are perfect, and we always feel well taken care of. Beauty did my hair and it was a great experience. She has done my hair different times when I’ve come in and it always turns out great. I got tree braids with a sew in that turned out perfect for my upcoming vacation.

It was my first time here, but I was fortunate to have found it. I got corn rows straight back, and it took them about 2 hours to braid. Maggie worked on my hair. She was also able to wash and dry my hair before we got started. All the ladies there are hard working and kind individuals. They did an excellent job on all the other ladies in the chair while I was there. Their prices are also reasonable, comparable.
