I visited the salon for a significant color change, transitioning from blonde to brown while also navigating postpartum hair loss. Although my initial appointment didn’t achieve the exact result I hoped for, my stylist made an effort with the starting point we had. Devon promptly welcomed me back for a correction appointment, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. While the final result differed slightly from what I originally envisioned, it turned out to be exactly what my hair needed. Throughout the process, I was thoroughly informed, educated on color care, and given detailed guidance on styling and maintenance at home. I started seeing Mak shortly after my old hairdresser started leaving bleed marks and being generally sloppy. During our consultation, I explained my worries and what I was interested in doing - not only was she super helpful and friendly, but she also was very honest with me about what was possible and cared a ton about my hair integrity. Every time I visit, she and I have so much fun chatting and she amazes me with her work. She is very detail oriented and makes sure I don’t make any impulse decisions (which is very appreciated)! Her color work on my blonde hair is always so stunning and grows out so seamlessly. I love going to Mak and cannot recommend her enough!
