This was my first time here, and I had such terrible customer service that I will NOT be returning again. I arrived at 6:10pm with my friend in hopes to have relaxing girls night out pedicures since we are both busy moms who never get fun evenings out. Anyways, the whole appointment was super rushed, the pedicure lasted probably 10 minutes max and they essentially kicked me out of the massage chair, rushed me through the nail drying process, and then kicked us out the door by 6:40. If your website says that you close at 7, stop trying to kick us out early just so you can go home early. Not to mention they did the typical try to push gel on you just to make extra $$. I wish I hadn't tipped because I can't believe I spent $45 on a 20 minute, terrible experience.

This place is very very horrible , the way they do nails and their customer service is trash . I just walked out crying . Filling humiliated . I tried telling the man at the front desk “ hey I been coming here I pay good I give tip I’m not happy with the work I been getting & he starts yelling in front of everybody saying “well don’t come here anymore. He didn’t even listen to me . I payed 180$ for my nails and feet . I literally had to ask for my cuticles to be done & the back of my foot to be scrubbed . She still had a nerve to have an attitude while doing it and still didn’t do it correctly people work too hard to be getting played with like this $180 is to much that’s another thing every time I come pricing is different. 180$ for my nails to be painted the same color, no tips !!!! I had a very disappointing experience here. Two weeks ago I paid $48 (plus $15 tip) for a full set of dip powder nails. When I came back for a refill (which I’ve been getting for years at other salons with no problem), they refused and insisted I had to remove the entire set and pay another $48(plus $15 tip) for a new set. They tried to say it would “look better,” but that’s just not true. (He/Bac gave me 6 different bogus excuses in one breath) Dip powder nails don’t need to be taken off after only 2 weeks. It feels like they were pushing me to spend more money, especially on gel which are $65 and that I don’t want. I went to another salon right after, and they had no issue doing a normal refill and even matched my color perfectly. This place seems more interested in upselling than in tre

This salon is a little more expensive than some I've been to but also a little more classy. I've been here for pedicures in the past. Today I thought i needed a new set of acrylics but they were honest and told me I only needed a fill. I was used to having the nails built up when i get a fill but he mostly just dremmled and filed. I guess maybe they do it differently here. I came here because i wanted the nails done right because for we have a wedding to go to and J&L has a good reputation. They look beautiful! I love the design that the nail artist painted to match the dress im going to wear.

J&L was recommended to me via a coworker. The first 3 times I went were great experiences. They have a great selection of colors to choose from to the point where you start to become overwhelmed. So go in with an idea in mind. However, my last and only visit there was not okay. My nail tech made some racist remarks while telling a story. I told her that I don't think that her remarks were appropriate, being that I am of the race she was describing. Then she continued to talk down about my race and my skin tone to the point where I wanted to get up and leave. I have never had an experience like this before at a nail salon. The whole reason for me getting my nails and other services done is a way for me to relax and pamper myself. I felt disrespected an unwanted. Especially when I made my di
