J G Spa and Massage

Being a part time resident here in LR, I was looking for a place for a massage and came across this place that had an opening on a Sunday. I will say it did not disappoint. The place is very clean. I checked in and I was escorted to my room 5 minutes before my appointment time to get ready. At my scheduled appointment time my therapist came in and started to get to work. The massage was amazing and she did not stop until the hour was up. You get the full time you asked for here, not like other places that take time away for a consultation and changing time. The price here was also very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

Visited for the first time today. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. They got us in with less than a 24 hour notice. Massage was amazing. Staff really knew what to focus on. Prices were very affordable. We will be back

Called to make an appointment for the next day, they didn’t take down a name they just said we have your number. Odd. Walked in and they were so clueless. They had no record of us calling and no appointment written down. Receptionist barely spoke English and disappeared to try and figure it out while we sat in the lobby. We could see doors open while people were getting massages. Very unprofessional. She came back and asked us to wait 10 minutes to see if she could find someone. We just left. Ridiculous

I booked an appointment the day before and the receptionist only took my number. I asked don’t you need my name and she said no I have your number that’s all I need. The appointment was for a couples massage as it was my other half birthday. We arrived about 10 minutes before and finally someone came out to greet us 10-12 minutes later. That’s already a start of something is going to go left. After the receptionist confirmed I was the one who booked a “couples” massage she said just a few minutes. She starts talking to staff and things got a little loud while they were talking. She comes over to ask if we could come back at 1:30 but she could tell by the look on my face that wasn’t going to work because I booked an appointment number one. I’ve been here several times and they do a great massage. I don’t feel like you get the full 60 minutes. And I consider myself a good tip at 20% but boy if you don’t give at least 20% Two times the lady was downright mean.
