J. Elite Esthetics

It is weird that I write a review from the parking lot of an establishment but I do think this experience warrants it. I booked an Advanced Hydrofacial and added dermaplaning while there. To begin with a positive note, the receptionist was extremely warm and kind. She made me aware that my esthetician was running behind. In truth, I did not realize we were running about 20 minutes behind which does not sound like a lot but depending on the day you have planned, is. My esthetician just asked me about my skin but never really shared what she saw. During the dermaplane, I felt like there were a couple of moments where she wasn’t mindful of where I had a sizable pimple. Also, at one point while she went around my lower lip, the blade hit my top lip. I did let her know that she hit my top lip.

I have no words lol. I came in today for a wax, lamination, and tint. I came to this same place two years ago for the same appointment by someone else and it was perfect(see first picture). My eyebrow hairs are naturally really curly so sometimes I laminate them when they get out of hand. I figured it was time for another one. This time I went to Jazmin the owner. I should have noticed the red flags of her not asking me how I like my eyebrows but I figured she can see how I shape them so I trusted her. When I sat up and saw my eyebrows I wanted to cry. I blame myself for trusting someone else and I will never go back lol. By the looks of my eyebrows it seems as though she copied and pasted how she does everyone’s onto mine. My bestie and I went to get our eyebrows tinted and laminated. Jazmin serviced us. She was friendly and personable. Most importantly she listened to what we wanted and delivered. A natural polished look.
