I had the WORST experience ever the staff were very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE there. They were so LAZY that they wouldn’t even get up off their seat to help me. To top things off I got stuck with the wrong size wig because they gave the wrong size in length and they wouldn’t even let me exchange it. I will never go there again!!!

Great hair store! The owner and staff are welcoming and accommodating! When you walk in you see business cards for other Black Owned businesses in the Modesto - Stanislaus County Area. They don’t just have hair and beauty products but good conversations and laughter. For anyone Black in the 209 it’s definitely a safe, cultural space for the "back home" feeling when you miss the bay and a good place for some conversations. Absolutely love it here!

Im a regular, I love the owner and the service is great. However, considering this being the best location for beauty supplies in Modesto. I am very disappointed that the store is often closing earlier than the stated times.. Right now it is 6:30 on Thursday and I wasted gas and cant get the supplies I require due to the store being closed early. This is not the fisrt time I have pulled up before close and couldn't be serviced due to early closing. Whoever is closing needs to do better or the closing times should be changed if this particular employee is allowed to do so.

I had an excellent experience here on 03/22/2025. I went in with my mom to buy a wig, and Ayo was so helpful and kind! She went above and beyond good customer service, and made us feel welcomed and at ease in a new environment for us. We found 2 awesome wigs with her help! I will definitely be coming back, and recommending everyone to this establishment. Thank you again, Ayo! Never stop shining! 🌟

I come to that store quite often, like once a week. Everytime I go in they greet me when I walk in, ask if I need help while browsing, and are available if I do have questions. I usually do research online or via tutorials to know exactly what I need to create a style before going in, so I don't need a ton of help, I just don't assume that the ladies that work there do hair. I do this to set myself up for success and I'm 99.99% happy with the service I receive. I'll continue to shop there... *Grace
