Ivan Dominican Barbershop

My son’s regular barber didn’t have availability and we were in Gainesville and decided to try this shop. The guy did awesome and I was super impressed being a stylist myself( I don’t cut his hair lol) faded amazingly and he was super excited when they guy finished! Thanks for a great walk in experience. He actually wants us to travel back there from now to get a fresh cut! Thanks! I believe the guys name was Abal?? Either way he did great!

Not recommended for parents with kids with special needs, I went to this place for the first time, explained that my son has autism, one of the barbers told me that they can try and to sign in the list, I agreed just to see that they jumped his name and nobody told me if somebody was going to take care of him. Also the music is so loud, I felt really uncomfortable.

I got my haircut by Abraham, and he does a great job with skin fades. Every time I get my haircut, he is very fast and accurate with the cut. . He He might not speak a lot of English, but he can cut your hair very well. If you don't speak Spanish, just show him a picture and he'll "bless you up" with the clippers. . Can't say much about the other barbers at the shop, but he is great. Would highly recommend him!

Great shop! The gentleman that cut my hair didn't speak much English but that didn't stop him from perfecting every detail of my haircut and I'm very satisfied! My hair has never looked this good and my fiance is in love with it. Will definitely come back soon.

HORRIBLE HAIRCUT!! TERRIBLE LINES!! The haircut my boyfriend received from them today looks so bad! It's not well done, it's sloppy and messy! And now we're going to have to spend more money somewhere else to get it fixed!! Also, they didn't seem to respect the order of the line/wait list. Can't help but think they rushed through the haircut because they had a line of waiting customers which is totally unfair to the person in the chair who is expecting a decent haircut for $17! They still received a tip from us, and in my eyes it wasn't earned! The waiting line can be ridiculously long as you can see in above pictures! If you know your business is going to have a lot more clients on specific days you should plan for that and bring in more barbers during the weekend to help with those OUTRA
