ITMH :: In The Masters Hands

I was quoted $160.00 for a shampoo, conditioner and “silk” press! I was looking for weekly service. With the invention of the Revaire blow dryer and Tymo ionic straightener and excellent Black owned products, I feel these outrageously priced salons will go the way of nail salons since press on nails are also consumer friendly. There is no amount of training or consultation or products that justify $160.00 for hair. This is not a medical, or professional situation. Sorry.

Brittani does a really good job on my hair and I've always gotten compliments. I can't pay $150 for a relaxer and a cut all the time but if I can I'll go to her. The first time I had an appointment I felt like it was really easy to book it, but after that I would call and never get a call back and the phone would just ring. I called recently and was shocked that someone actually picked up the phone, I'm going someplace else now but once again I love my hair when Brittani has done it.

Brittany is the only hairstylist I've trusted to cut my hair since I moved to New Orleans! She is professional, respects her customers' time, and listens to what they want done. She takes pride in her work and won't let you leave looking anything other than fabulous! The shop is clean and glamorously decorated. The prices are reasonable and they have great discounts for customer loyalty.

Carlyn and the ENTIRE staff is absolutely amazing. ALL of the stylists specialize in healthy hair and make sure that your hair not only looks amazing on the outside, but is also amazing on the inside. They will tell you "No" if you want to do something that is detrimental to your hair ( getting a relaxer too early, hair coloring if your hair isn't strong enough, etc...). They will lose the money rather than destroy your hair. The salon is incredibly professional, yet still a comfortable, relaxing environment. Carlyn has my hair healthy, thick, and strong. She's ruined me for other stylists!!

Since going to In The Master's Hand, I have a wonderful hair stylist, She does a wonderful job with my hair and always make sure that I am happy with my style before leaving the salon. I have truly received many compliments on my hair styles. And when asked where do I go. I just give them one of the salon cards. And just to add. They do not take all day on your hair. I am truly thankful for finding this salon.
